PUBLIC school vs. PRIVATE school: You DECIDE!
May 21, 2010
They say Public school is way far from Private school. I wonder why? Just because students from public schools are poor and from Private school are rich? I made this post to open up the minds of people who are thinking that Private school is more BETTER compared to Public school because they’re probably wrong. Both type of school are good that only depends on how the teacher teaches the student. They say Private school is more advanced compared to public school, well no! They’re both the same. I also wonder why people would look down on people studying on public schools where in fact Public schools trained the students just like the way the teachers from private schools do. The only differences from Private school are tuition fees are way higher and facilities are way better. Most especially here in Philippines sometimes our government neglects or never sees the problem in education in schools most especially in public schools who needs more facilities. That is why people would conclude Private schools have the best quality education. But have you asked yourselves that more students coming from public schools are diligent students, who are scholars from the school. Me, myself before studied from public school which was owned by my “tatay”, I learned self confident and gain more experienced which are so-called extracurricular activities. I had been an orator, an newspaper member from the school, i experienced on how to fetch water from the wells, how to cultivate soil (our hands-on gardening in 1 of our subject), how to socialize other students from other schools because teachers will be bringing students who won from a certain school competition then compete w/ other schools. I don’t feel ashamed just because I studied public school before, but I am proud to say that it make me feel stronger. But it doesn’t mean I choose Public that Private, coz I also studied elementary years on private school and on my college years too. So, I can say, BOTH are the same. Its up with the student on how he accepts his learning environment and on how he/she will adjust the way teachers teaches.
