If you'd go around Bogo, you know there are few good food chains and restaurants lurking in the City. Bogo has its hidden gems as well. And there's this one place may be familiar or none by the others. The place is not too big and it is located back of Gaisano Mall between a Barbeque stall and a thrift store.

This post took me a couple of weeks before I decided finally put it up on blog. In relevant to my previous post (which you can read it here ). I'll be sharing with you where we have booked some of our tour in Korea. So on our Day 3 Itinerary we visited PETITE FRANCE + NAMI ISLAND + GARDEN OF THE MORNING CALM. 

South Korea is one of the sought to visit places in Asia. South Korea have 4 seasons - Summer, Spring, Autumn, and Winter.We visited last Winter 2017. So my travel tips may apply other seasons and other travels but some are for snowy and cold months.


1. Have your money exchange before your travel. Never have your money exchange at airports because currency exchange there are low. But if that cannot be avoided exchange with just a lil amount.

5. Plan you itinerary but never plan to the extent. I'm suppose to attached our sample itinerary, but i think I've lost my copy. So to proceed, on our DAY 3, we had our trip to NAMI ISLAND + PETITE FRANCE (above photo) + GARDEN OF THE MORNING CALM package from www.funtastickorea.com. You can book 1 day in advance. Our Everland tickets was also booked through Funtastickorea but now called Indiway. Of course, I will be blogging a separate entry for the places we've visited.


6. Buy T-Money card for transportation. If you really want to experience Korea, I recommend you ride buses and trains. You can buy a T-MONEY Card for transpo in 7/11 stores or C2U or any convenience stores which are plenty of them around Korea. Or you can even buy it at subway stations. Reloading can also be done in convenience stores or at subways.


7. Download waze. Or get your google maps ready. Since we didn't avail a travel package, it was all DIY. So we didn't have a tour guide with us (except for our DAY 3 tour), so internet is really important to help you with going through around the city. We are just so lucky, my brother is sooo good with directions so we didn't had hard time.


8. BRING POWERBANK ALL THE TIME. I don't know why but apple phone battery dies in extreme cold. Even if it's fully charged because same goes with my dad's and brother's phone. Fortunately, we brought powerbanks with us. Since my Mom and sister's phone are android so they didn't have to worry a thing. But if you're a heavy user, just bring with you your powerbanks so you won't miss anything nice to take photo of. If you have camera then much better.


9. Enjoy and have a wonderful time. Since South Korea have so much to offer, from food, culture, and a beautiful sceneries - every corner is just so amazingly pretty and plenty of places you can visit to. Five or Seven days of stay wasn't enough to see all those beautiful spots. Hoping next time to visit SPRING TIME because Korea is always my dream place to be.

Better be late than never as what they say. This exciting adventure took place last 2017.

Mi Familia with ze boyfriend went on an adventure trip to Badian to try out CANYONEERING. I was skeptical to do it at first since my Mom and sister were afraid of heights and I do too, a little. But my heart kept on telling me to do it since I really wanted to tick off one in my Must-To-Do List.

From South Road Properties (San Remo Oasis) Cebu to Badian Cebu took us around 2-3 hours travel. We started our trip after we had our breakfast, that was around 9 o'clock.

The moment we entered the Municipality of Badian, the first Canyoneering Service Provider we saw was the HIGHLANDS ADVENTURE. Since we weren't able to book in advance, so we opted to choose the first one we see once we arrived in Badian.

Good thing they still have tour guides to accompany us on our adventure and it cost around 1500 php per person with the following inclusions:
* Safety Helmet
 * 2 Guides
* Lifevest
* 1 GoPro ( this is convenient if you don't have water sports camera)
* Meal each person once you arrive at KAWASAN FALLS.

Right after you pay, they will let you sign a waiver. Then a motorcycle will pick you up to bring you to the mountains where your starting point will be. From there, we have to trek for about 10-15 minutes uphill until we arrive at the river stream.





Once you get there, be stunned to see the beauty of nature. Just a tip though, please listen to your tour guides because they know the direction and track on which one's were safe and not. You will get all the emotions when you get to start your Canyoneering Adventure, from nerve-breaking cliff jumping to sliding off together with the water current -- you'll get to experience all of those thrill which will make your heart beat 100x, yet eventually it was a fulfilling thing to do and that is to CONQUER YOUR FEAR.


We reach KAWASAN FALLS 3 hours later, and we even didn't feel exhausted but rather grateful that we don't just enjoy but survive the thrill. The excitement you'll feel is incomparable. So when you visit Cebu, or searching for an adventure -- then this one must be in your bucketlist.
